Bulandshahr, March 30 Two brothers died when their motorcycle collided head-on with a tempo traveller here on Monday, police said.

According to police, Abdul Kaleem (25) and his brother Asim (19), both residents of Shahjahanpur district, were travelling to Noida on a motorcycle.

On the Bulandshahr-Budaun road, under the jurisdiction of the Ahmadgarh police station, their motorcycle collided head-on with a tempo.

The tempo driver fled the scene after the accident.

Both brothers were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead.

SHO of the Ahmadgarh police station, Dharmendra Singh, said that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

Efforts are underway to apprehend the tempo driver.
