
March 26, New Delhi – The 14th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) is scheduled to take place from March 26-29 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The conference will bring together Trade Ministers from WTO member countries to discuss key issues affecting the global trading system.
The Indian delegation will be led by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal.
Key discussion items include WTO reform, the E-Commerce Work Programme, and issues related to agriculture and development, among others.
India will continue to support meaningful WTO reforms aimed at strengthening the multilateral trading system, while keeping development concerns at its core.
In addition to the ministerial meeting, Minister Piyush Goyal is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts.
