
RAMBAN, APRIL 10: Deputy Commissioner of Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, chaired a meeting to finalize arrangements for the 100-day "Nasha Mukt Bharat" campaign, which will begin with a padyatra from the District Police Line to the District Administrative Complex in Maitra.
He urged departments to ensure widespread public participation, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to make the campaign a mass movement against drug abuse. The campaign will be launched simultaneously across all sub-divisions, tehsils, and panchayats.
Officials were directed to implement department-specific action plans and ensure the involvement of youth, students, and civil society to raise awareness for a drug-free society.
Meanwhile, SDM Gool, Imtiaz, chaired a separate meeting, directing the preparation of detailed plans at the grassroots level and stressing a coordinated, multi-sectoral approach for the effective implementation of the campaign.
