
Panaji, March 31 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal visited Tapobhoomi in North Goa on Tuesday to seek the blessings of Padma Shri awardee Sadguru Brahmeshanand Swami.
The former Delhi chief minister is in the coastal state to campaign for AAP candidate Geetesh Naik, who is contesting the Ponda assembly by-election.
Kejriwal, along with Delhi's Leader of Opposition Atishi, AAP Goa president Valmiki Naik, Geetesh Naik, and others, visited Tapobhoomi at Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth in Kundaim village.
He sought the blessings of Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji.
The by-election for the Ponda assembly segment will be held on April 9.
The election was necessitated following the death of then State Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik.
