Lurinjyoti Gogoi launches campaign in Khowang
Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Lurinjyoti Gogoi, President of the Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP), has launched his election campaign in the Khowang constituency, Dibrugarh.
He began the campaign by offering prayers at the historic Raidongia Doul in Kalakhowa. Addressing his first election rally in the area, Gogoi launched a sharp attack on the incumbent MLA and BJP candidate, Chakradhar Gogoi.
The rally saw the presence of approximately 400 people, including men and women. With elections approaching, both the ruling and opposition parties have intensified their campaign activities across the state.
