New Delhi, March 24 The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INSEAD, Singapore, to strengthen capacity building and promote professional excellence in the metro rail sector.
The agreement, signed on March 23, aims to enhance understanding of metro rail management from strategic, business, and customer satisfaction perspectives, while creating a structured platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise between DMRC Academy and INSEAD, according to a statement.
The collaboration will combine DMRC's experience in urban transport and metro rail systems with INSEAD's global academic expertise in leadership, strategy, and management education, it said.
The partnership is expected to support skill development, encourage innovation, and facilitate the adoption of global best practices in the sector, contributing to the growth and modernization of urban transportation systems, it stated.
The MoU was signed by DMRC Academy Director General Ghansham Bansal and INSEAD Dean of Executive Education and Asia Campus Sameer Hasija in the presence of DMRC Managing Director Vikas Kumar and other senior officials, it added.
