Ujjain, March 17 Two people were killed and several others were seriously injured when their car collided with a truck near Ujjain city in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, police said.
Shailendra Singh Rajawat, the in-charge of the Bhairavgarh police station, said the incident occurred around 11 AM near the Unhel toll post, about 13 km from Ujjain city.
The front of the car was severely damaged in the collision, he added.
Of the four men travelling in the car, Devend (45) and Kailash Sharma (40), residents of Abdalpura, died on the spot. The seriously injured individuals were taken to Ujjain hospital for treatment.
