March 26, New Delhi – The U.S. military conducted a strike against a vessel allegedly involved in drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea, resulting in the deaths of four people.

The U.S. Southern Command stated on X that the vessel was traveling along known drug trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was involved in drug smuggling operations.

The operation resulted in the deaths of four alleged drug smugglers, with no U.S. military personnel harmed.

Since September, when the U.S. began targeting alleged drug-related terrorists, at least 163 people have been killed, with 45 strikes conducted on such vessels so far.

Last week, the U.S. military also conducted a kinetic strike on another suspected drug-smuggling boat in the eastern Pacific, which resulted in two deaths.
