The Doul festival has begun in Batadrava, the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardeva, the revered saint and reformer of Assam.
A five-day colourful event has been organized at Sri Sri Batadrava Than, which will continue until March 6. The entire area is filled with festive excitement centered around the Doul festival of Lord Krishna.
