Mumbai, March 28 Actor Hrithik Roshan has a special message for his son, Hrehaan, as he turned 20 years old on Saturday.
Wishing him on his special day with a heartfelt post on social media, Hrithik explained to his son what adulthood really means.
The actor, known for the film "War", said that adulthood is about being responsible, stable, and wise enough so that the child within you can occasionally experience moments of pure joy.
Sharing a collection of throwback photos and videos on his official Instagram account, Hrithik wrote, "As you step into adulthood, here’s a gentle reminder of what it’s really for: To build a life that is strong, responsible, stable, and wise… so that the child within you can continue to find moments of unbridled laughter, moments of pure joy, moments of quiet satisfaction, and the freedom to soar. That's the goal. Nothing more. Nothing less. So, good luck, you adult. (sic)"
The actor, who starred in "Guzaarish", also told the birthday boy that while the adult within us guides the way, it's the child who decides the destination. "Remember – the adult steers the boat. But the child… is the captain. ‘My captain, my captain’ is more appropriate here. Happy 20th birthday, Ray – my son. The examples above show what your captain has always looked like," he added.
Moreover, Hrithik's former wife and Hrehaan's mother, Sussanne Khan, also composed a heartfelt birthday wish for him, including a video montage of his childhood memories accompanied by recent glimpses.
Her birthday wish for Hrehaan went, "RAY, MY LOVE… You are my greatest blessing in life. My Hrehaan, my firstborn son… there is no greater joy than being your and Ridzo’s mother. The man you have become makes me feel so proud and grateful. I love you so much… welcome to your 20s, my SonShine."
