On the occasion of International Bird Day today, Minister of State for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh, stated that birds are nature's messengers, reminding people of the delicate balance of the planet. In a social media post, the Minister urged citizens to appreciate and protect these winged wonders that connect ecosystems around the world. Mr. Singh also encouraged people to protect birds' habitats by conserving them, reducing plastic waste, and planting native vegetation. International Bird Day is celebrated on April 1st, when migratory birds return after the winter season, and nature begins to awaken and flourish.
