Mumbai, April 3 Actress and theatre personality Lillete Dubey seems to have been overcome with emotion as she remembered her late husband, Ravi Dubey, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

The actress posted a note along with a beautiful picture featuring them both from their happier times together.

Sharing the picture on her social media account, the actress wrote: “Happy birthday, darling Ravi… still hear that laugh… still remember that love… forever in our hearts… Simon & Garfunkel… your favorites… and this song is just for you.”

She also used “For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her” by Simon & Garfunkel as the background music, noting that it was among her husband's favorite songs.

The photograph captures a candid and intimate moment between Ravi and Lillete.

The couple is seen seated, smiling warmly, while Lillete leans in close to Ravi and puts her arm around him.

For those unfamiliar, Lillete Dubey was married to Ravi Dubey, a theatre personality and corporate professional.

The couple married in the 1970s and remained together until his death. Ravi Dubey passed away in 2015 after battling cancer.

They have two daughters, including Ira Dubey, who is an actress known for her work in films such as Aisha (released in 2010), Dear Zindagi (released in 2016), and Marjaavaan (released in 2019).

Their other daughter has remained out of the spotlight.

On the professional front, Lillete Dubey has had a long career spanning theatre, films, and television.

She is known for her roles in Zubeidaa (released in 2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (released in 2003), Monsoon Wedding (released in 2007), and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (released in 2011).

Her performances in Kal Ho Naa Ho and Zubeidaa were particularly noteworthy.
