Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla completed his self-enumeration registration for the 2027 Census today. In a social media post, Mr. Birla stated that this national census marks the beginning of a new era. He emphasized that for the first time, the entire process is being conducted digitally, thereby granting every citizen both the right and the facility to personally record the details of their household. He described the process as extremely secure, accurate, and convenient.
The Lok Sabha Speaker noted that the Self-Enumeration Period varies across the different States and Union Territories of the country. He urged fellow citizens to actively participate and complete their self-enumeration by visiting the official portal and selecting their respective region.
