Chadha Highlights Rajya Sabha Concerns After AAP Removal.webp

New Delhi, April 2 Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha posted a video on social media on Thursday, highlighting the issues he raised as the party's deputy leader in the House, shortly after being removed from the position.

The video touched upon issues such as the tax burden on the middle class, the problem of data expiry, paternity leave as a right in India, and excessive baggage charges at airports.

Earlier in the day, the AAP wrote to the Rajya Sabha secretariat, requesting the removal of Chadha as the party's deputy leader in the House, and proposed Punjab MP Ashok Mittal as his replacement.

According to sources, the letter stated that Chadha, a Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, should not be allotted time to speak in the House from the AAP's allocated quota.

Previously considered a close confidant of Kejriwal and one of the youngest MPs in the country, Chadha played a key role in party affairs, particularly in Punjab and during the AAP's tenure in Delhi.
