Mission YUVA outreach connects youth with schemes, support, and guidance as departments showcase opportunities, while women and SHG members mark Women's Day participation.
March 8, Chadoora: A one-day Entrepreneurship Fair was organized at Town Hall, Chadoora, by the District Employment and Counselling Centre, Budgam, under Mission YUVA, to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among the youth.
During the event, stalls were set up by various government departments showcasing different self-employment schemes, job opportunities, and financial assistance available for aspiring entrepreneurs. Participants were informed about government support aimed at encouraging new business ventures.
Officials at the stalls provided detailed guidance to visitors regarding the procedures for establishing businesses and accessing benefits under various welfare and employment schemes. Youth participants actively interacted with department representatives to seek clarification on financial aid and training opportunities.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Chadoora, Primrose Bashir, and Joint Director, Employment, Kashmir, Waseem Raja, visited the fair and inspected the stalls set up by different departments. They also interacted with participants and emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship as a means to generate employment opportunities and strengthen the local economy.
