March 14, New Delhi – The Jammu Division of Northern Railway has announced an extension of the special reserved train service between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to accommodate the increasing number of devotees visiting for Darshan during Chaitra Navratri.
Special Train No. 04081, operating from New Delhi to Katra, will now run from March 17 to March 30, completing a total of 14 trips. Its return service, Train No. 04082 from Katra to New Delhi, will operate from March 18 to March 31.
The Railways stated that the extension is aimed at providing significant relief to devotees traveling to Vaishno Devi during the festival period.
