"DJB teams are monitoring and carrying out repair work 24x7 to restore the water supply. By afternoon, 100 per cent of water pumping capacity will be restored," a senior board official said.
The situation is being continuously monitored at the highest level, and teams are deployed on the ground to ensure normal operations at the Chandrawal pump house, the official added.
According to the officials, as part of the restoration efforts, the DJB is currently operating two pump sets with a capacity to pump 18 million gallons per day (MGD) of water.
