The General Administration Department (GAD) has issued a statement introducing a dress code for the upcoming Chapchar Kut, the largest festival celebrated in Mizoram.
According to the notice, all government employees working under the Government of Mizoram are required to wear traditional Mizo attire starting today until Friday, the day the festival is observed.
The department has also instructed Administrative Heads and Heads of Departments to take the necessary steps to ensure that the directive is followed in their respective offices.
