Chennai, April 10 The Election Commission on Friday ordered the transfer of Greater Chennai Police Commissioner A Arun, replacing him with IPS officer Abhin Dinesh (batch of 1997), effective Monday.
The Election Commission of India, in a statement, directed that Arun should not be assigned to any election-related duties until the completion of the Assembly elections.
