
April 03, New Delhi – Indian-origin chess prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan has become England's highest-rated female player.
According to the latest rating list of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), Bodhana has 2366 rating points.
This achievement also marks her entry into the world's top 100 women for the first time, placing her at number 72.
Sivanandan earned the title of Woman International Master last year after defeating English Grandmaster Peter Wells at the 2025 British Chess Championships.
