New Delhi, April 6 Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday to present a comprehensive development plan for the Bastar region in a "post-Maoist scenario," officials said on Monday.
The high-profile meetings will focus on shaping the future of Bastar by outlining a roadmap for the comprehensive development of the region following the decline in Maoist influence, they said.
With security forces dealing a significant blow to Maoist activity, the focus has now shifted to integrating the region into the mainstream of development, officials said.
The chief minister is likely to outline plans for expanding basic infrastructure, promoting industry and investment, generating large-scale employment for local youth, and ensuring inclusive development of tribal areas, they said.
