The National Human Rights Commission has issued notices to the District Magistrate and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Raipur, regarding the reported death of three sanitation workers while cleaning a septic tank at a private hospital in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Taking the matter suo motu, the NHRC has requested a detailed report within two weeks. According to media reports, the incident occurred on the 17th of this month.
