Srinagar, February 17: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah attended the Regional Workshop on Tele-Law at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, along with Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and the Chief Justice of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted the transformative role of technology-enabled legal services in ensuring affordable, efficient, and timely access to justice, particularly for citizens in remote and underserved areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
He observed that initiatives such as Tele-Law strengthen grassroots justice delivery, reduce the burden of litigation, and reinforce the government's commitment to transparent, inclusive, and citizen-centric governance.
