
RAJOURI, March 1: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary undertook an extensive tour of the Nowshera Sub-Division, holding public interaction meetings at Bajora, Bajabain, Sunderbani, Hanjana, and Dharat to address the concerns of local residents.
During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister inspected several ongoing development projects in Nowshera and adjoining areas. Interacting with the public, he listened to grievances related to road connectivity, drinking water supply, electricity, healthcare facilities, and other key developmental issues.
He assured the people that all genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt action. He also issued on-the-spot directions to officials to ensure timely redress of grievances and emphasized effective inter-departmental coordination to address public issues efficiently.
Later, he inspected the ongoing construction of the Dak Bungalow in Nowshera and reviewed the pace and quality of work. He directed the executing agency to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high construction standards.
The Deputy Chief Minister also visited Lamberi to review the pending work on the Conference Hall and instructed officials to expedite the remaining tasks to make the facility operational at the earliest for administrative and public use.
At MCH Lamberi, he assessed the existing healthcare infrastructure and facilities available to patients, stressing the need to further strengthen healthcare services to ensure improved medical care for the local population.
Among those accompanying him were ADDC Rajouri Malikzada Sheraz-ul-Haq, ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa, Chief Engineer PWD Tilak Raj, Executive Engineer PWD Nowshera Sarwar Mehmood, along with other district and sectoral officers.
