March 27, New Delhi – The central Cuban province of Cienfuegos has begun receiving humanitarian aid this week from Mexico, consisting of basic food supplies intended for vulnerable populations.

The donations include canned goods, grains, and cooking oil, which will be distributed to schools, healthcare centers, orphanages, and other organizations in need.

This is the fourth shipment of aid from Mexico, delivered by Mexican Navy vessels, and a fifth shipment is already en route aboard a ship that departed from Veracruz. The aid also includes medical supplies and hygiene products, according to Cuba's Ministry of Domestic Trade.

These deliveries come as part of ongoing support amid Cuba's economic challenges, including energy shortages linked to increased U.S. pressure and disruptions related to the embargo.
