The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 137 Battalion organized a free medical camp at Government School Roun in Udhampur district as part of its Civic Action Programme (CAP), benefiting numerous local residents.

The camp was formally inaugurated by R.S. Pathania, MLA Udhampur East, in the presence of Manoj Kumar Sikon, Commandant of CRPF 137 Battalion, along with other officers and local residents.

During the camp, villagers received free medical check-ups, including ECG and blood pressure examinations. Medicines such as antacids, Vitamin E tablets, multivitamins, Vitamin B complex tablets, cough syrups, and sanitary pads were distributed free of charge.

In addition to medical services, awareness sessions were conducted to educate locals about preventive healthcare and the importance of maintaining good health practices.

Speaking at the event, MLA R.S. Pathania praised the CRPF's efforts in providing humanitarian services alongside their security duties. Commandant Manoj Kumar Sikon reiterated the force's commitment to community welfare under the Civic Action Programme.

Local resident Dhara Singh expressed gratitude to the CRPF personnel for organizing the camp and serving the community while ensuring round-the-clock safety and security in the region.

The initiative was widely appreciated by the villagers, who described it as a noble and much-needed outreach effort.
