New Delhi, March 6 Anuj Agnihotri, who graduated from AIIMS Jodhpur, has topped the coveted civil services examination 2025, the results of which were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday.

Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull have secured the second and third positions, respectively.

A total of 958 candidates – 659 men and 299 women – have cleared the examination and have been recommended for appointments to various central civil services.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated all the successful candidates and said that their dedication, perseverance, and hard work have led to this significant achievement.

For those who did not perform as desired, Modi said that this was only one step in a larger journey, and many opportunities lie ahead, both in future examinations and in the various avenues through which they can contribute to the nation.

Agnihotri (26) secured the first rank, with medical science as his optional subject, in his third attempt.

He has an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
