
Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh), April 1 Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu visited the Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in Vontimitta, Kadapa district, on Wednesday, accompanied by his spouse, on the occasion of Sri Sitarama Kalyanam.
The CM, his spouse Nara Bhubaneswari, and grandson Nara Devansh offered 'pattu vastrams' (silk robes) to the deity as part of the ongoing Sri Kodandarama Swamy Brahmotsavams.
"Naidu, along with his spouse and grandson, visited the Kodandarama temple and offered pattu vastrams to the Lord on the occasion of Sri Sitarama Kalyanam," an official release from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) said.
Upon his arrival, the chief minister was accorded a traditional 'Poornakumbha Swagatam' by temple priests. Later, Vedic scholars offered blessings to the CM.
On the occasion, the CM was presented with 'Shesha Vastram', Tirtha Prasadams, and a portrait of Vontimitta Sri Kodanda Rama, the release added.
