Assam CM launches portal for provincialisation of venture institutions
In a significant step for Assam's education sector and those involved, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the online portal today for the provincialisation of venture institutions under the Assam Education (Provincialisation of Services of Teachers and Re-Organisation of Educational Institutions) Act, 2017, as amended in 2025.
The special digital platform will help simplify the application process for eligible non-provincialised educational institutions across the state. The portal aims to make the provincialisation process more transparent, efficient, and fair.
The Chief Minister stated that the Assam government is fully committed to ensuring transparency in the provincialisation process through the new system.
