
Bhopal, March 25 Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav celebrated his 61st birthday on Wednesday at a farmer's house in the Sagar district.
Yadav accepted an invitation from the farmer to share a home-cooked meal with the family, according to an official.
The CM visited the house of Hari Raikwar in Moili village and enjoyed a simple meal of roti, dal, and vegetables prepared by the farmer's daughter-in-law.
The children in the family sat on the CM's lap as he listened to Raikwar, who spoke about his crops and the challenges he faced, according to the official.
An emotional Raikwar later said, "The chief minister has honored us greatly today. Our lifelong dream has come true."
Born on March 25, 1965, in Ujjain, Yadav was sworn in as the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh on December 13, 2023.
