New Delhi, April 6 IT services firm Coforge announced on Monday that Sunil Fernandes has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In his new role, Fernandes will oversee global delivery, as well as key company operations, including administration, facilities, and internal IT services, Coforge said in a statement.
Based in Princeton, New Jersey (USA), he will continue to report to Coforge Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Sudhir Singh.
With over 30 years of experience, Fernandes has been serving as the company's Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) since 2024.
Prior to joining Coforge, he held leadership positions at major tech firms, including Accenture, Infosys, and Cognizant.
"Sunil possesses a combination of leadership skills, technical expertise, and strategic thinking, which will be critical in transforming Coforge's operations to support our growth ambitions," Singh said.
As Chief Operating Officer, Fernandes will be responsible for strengthening the company's execution capabilities and scaling its operations, while also driving the accelerated adoption of AI-native practices across engineering, delivery, and internal operations.
