
Berhampur, April 6 The Odisha government-run Berhampur University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Library, Kolkata, on Monday for promoting collaborative research in areas of mutual interest.
The MoU was signed between Sachidanand Nayak, the registrar of the university, and Partha Sarathi Das of the National Library, officials said.
The objectives of the MoU include promoting collaborative research in areas of mutual interest, focused academic engagement on the unique special collections of the National Library, and the development of short-term academic and training programs, they said.
Under the agreement, academic seminars, workshops, and joint training sessions will also be conducted.
The tenure of the MoU is fixed at five years, officials said.
