
BANIHAL, Ramban, February 16: To combat drug trafficking and addiction, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the civil administration and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, organized a Drug Awareness Rally from Doligam to ITI Banihal, followed by a seminar on drug prevention.
SDPO Surinder Singh, the chief guest, highlighted the increasing drug-related crimes, health risks, and societal harm, urging youth and communities to remain vigilant. Officers, students, PRI members, and local residents actively participated.
The program concluded with the felicitation of select participants and a collective pledge to combat drug abuse, reinforcing anti-drug campaigns at the UT and national levels.
