
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, observed on April 14, a grand rally was organized today by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Education Society in Bari Brahmana, located in the Samba district.
Dr. Ritu Singh (a social activist and psychologist from Delhi) was the chief guest and inaugurated the rally. The rally began at the Bari Brahmana market, proceeded through Sarore, and concluded at the Ambedkar Bhawan in Bari Brahmana.
The president of the society, Purn Chand, stated that the rally symbolizes unity, brotherhood, and communal harmony. He added that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar played a crucial role in uniting people of all religions and castes in India.
Dr. Ritu Singh appealed to women to actively participate in such programs. Meanwhile, Society member Advocate Shashi Thapa said that India is a country governed by the Constitution, where people of all castes and religions live together in harmony.
