
Varanasi (UP), March 30 The 'MP-UP Cooperation Conference 2026' will be held in Varanasi on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Uttar Pradesh government.
In this regard, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav wrote a letter to Rakesh Sachan, the Uttar Pradesh Minister for MSME, Khadi & Village Industries, Sericulture, Handloom, and Textiles, inviting him to attend the conference.
Yadav said that the conference organized by the Madhya Pradesh government presents a significant opportunity to foster cooperation between the two states across various sectors, including handicrafts, ODOP (One District One Product) products, tourism, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The letter also stated that the event would place special emphasis on providing a common platform to connect the ODOP products and GI-tagged handicrafts of both states with national and international markets, as well as to boost tourism and cooperation between the two regions, the Uttar Pradesh government said.
