Candidates File Nominations in Kokrajhar
Kokrajhar, March 23: The filing of nomination papers for the upcoming assembly elections in Assam's Kokrajhar district has gained momentum.
Congress candidate Sapali Marak submitted her nomination for the 4 No. Baokhungri Legislative Assembly Constituency on Monday.
Meanwhile, Joseph Hasda, the party's candidate for the Gossaigaon LAC, also submitted his nomination to the Returning Officer.
Both candidates expressed optimism about a strong performance by the Indian National Congress in the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.
UPPL candidate Pratibha Brahma also filed her nomination for the Baokhungri constituency for the upcoming Assam Legislative Assembly elections.
She was accompanied by Assam minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, along with other senior leaders of the United People's Party Liberal, during the nomination process.
