Mandi (HP), April 7 The Congress government in Himachal Pradesh will be out in the next 18 months, and the BJP will form the next government with the support of the people, said BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday.
Addressing the State Executive Committee meeting here, Chugh criticized the Congress party, saying that the Congress's countdown in the state has begun, and Rahul Gandhi's so-called "Taka-Tak model" has completely failed.
The senior Congress leader, at an election rally in 2024, had promised to provide an annual sum of Rs. 1 lakh to young people undertaking apprenticeships if voted to power, and had used the "taka-Tak" phrase to convey the message.
Chugh alleged that in the last three and a half years, the Congress government has derailed the state from the path of development and has "pushed Himachal back by 35 years."
With the government continuously relying on loans to sustain its functioning, development projects have come to a standstill, and the payment of salaries and pensions has become a challenge, Chugh said.
He called upon BJP workers to strengthen the organization at the booth level and to take the government's failures to every household. "This is the time to gear up and collectively fight to remove this anti-people government," he said.
Chugh further stated that every BJP worker will act as the voice of the people and expose the Congress government's "misleading propaganda, financial mismanagement, and anti-people policies."
