
Hyderabad, March 11 Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday directed officials to formulate plans to develop connecting roads to alleviate traffic congestion in Hyderabad.
Reddy, who held a meeting with officials regarding road development as per the state government's '2047 Vision', asked officials to finalize measures that would enable citizens to reach any destination in the state from Hyderabad within a specified timeframe.
He instructed the officials to study the feasibility of building a Ring Road for every district headquarters town and connect such roads to the highways, an official release said.
The officials were asked to complete the construction of teaching hospitals and major hospitals as early as possible.
