
In New Delhi/Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 19 A Hindi film, "The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond," which is set to be released, is at the center of a growing controversy, much like its 2023 predecessor, with leaders from the Left and Congress calling it hate propaganda, while the BJP is backing it as a "legitimate concern".
The trailer for the film, produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Kamakhya Narain Singh, was released on Tuesday and immediately sparked controversy. It tells the stories of three Hindu women from different states who defy their families to marry Muslim men, only to be forced into conversion.
"The movie is based on real-life stories... I want audiences to judge whether what we are showing is the truth or propaganda," Shah told
