Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah interacted with the drivers (Saarthis) of Bharat Taxi in New Delhi. In a video released today, Mr. Shah stated that the Bharat Taxi Cooperative aims to empower the drivers by giving them ownership over their work. He highlighted that the initiative focuses on addressing the problems associated with private taxi service companies and ensuring that the profits go to the drivers, not the cooperative. The Minister further stated that the initiative is becoming a platform for the welfare of drivers and the safety of passengers.
