New Delhi, April 2 Copper prices fell by Rs 16.90 to Rs 1,168.20 per kilogram in futures trading on Thursday, due to weak demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for May delivery declined by Rs 16.90, or 1.43 percent, to Rs 1,168.20 per kg in a trading volume of 2,124 lots.
Traders said weak domestic demand from consuming industries put downward pressure on copper prices in futures trading.
