New Delhi, March 2 Copper futures rose by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1,245 per kg on Monday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 1.50, or 0.12 percent, to Rs 1,245 per kilogram in a trading volume of 269 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
