New Delhi, March 6 Copper futures rose by ₹2.40 to ₹1,218 per kg on Friday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery increased by ₹2.40, or 0.2 per cent, to ₹1,218 per kilogram in a trading volume of 111 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
