New Delhi, March 10 Copper futures rose by Rs 7.45 to Rs 1,222.30 per kg on Tuesday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 7.45, or 0.61 percent, to Rs 1,222.30 per kilogram in a trading volume of 281 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
