New Delhi, February 19 Copper futures rose by ₹2.35 to ₹1,210.65 per kg on Thursday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery increased by ₹2.35, or 0.19 percent, to ₹1,210.65 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,260 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
