
New Delhi, February 25 Copper futures rose by Rs 5.90 to Rs 1,205 per kg on Wednesday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 5.90, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 1,205 per kilogram in a trading volume of 2,028 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
