
New Delhi, February 18 Copper futures rose by ₹15.35 to ₹1,191.95 per kg on Wednesday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery increased by ₹15.35, or 1.3 per cent, to ₹1,191.95 per kilogram in a trading volume of 1,465 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
