New Delhi, April 8 Copper futures rose by Rs 21.20 to Rs 1,194.50 per kg on Wednesday due to increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery increased by Rs 21.20, or 1.81 percent, to Rs 1,194.50 per kilogram in a trading volume of 397 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increased speculation by participants.
