
Security forces recovered food, medicines, and other supplies from a makeshift hide during a cordon and search operation in the Kamla forest area of the Pulwama district, officials said.
February 27, Srinagar: A joint team of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the 42nd Rashtriya Rifles conducted a cordon and search operation in the Kamla forest area of the Pulwama district, recovering various items from a makeshift hide.
The operation was carried out in the Kamla forest, approximately three kilometers southeast of the 42 RR camp at Hardumir, under the Tral Police Station, according to reports.
During the search, the team recovered food items, firewood, cooking utensils, a 15-liter water container, water bottles, medicines, syringes, and torch batteries.
Officials said a temporary hide made of tarpaulin sheets supported by wooden sticks was found at the site.
Further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances under which the materials were stored in the forest area, officials said.
