New Delhi, March 18 Coriander prices rose by Rs 178 to Rs 11,670 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators increased their holdings, following a strong trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 178, or 1.55 percent, to Rs 11,670 per quintal in 16,580 lots.
In the previous trading session, it had closed at Rs 11,492 per quintal.
A strong trend in the spot market and limited supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
